Springfield, Ohio

I (Mike Harvey) went out to visit our project in Springfield, Ohio last week. Springfield is a great place with a community that is quickly embracing their new whitewater park. REP has modified two low head dams to create two whitewater sites and two more dams are slated to be modified in 2011 & 2012. This is a great example of what can be done with a low volume river. Normal recreational flows on Buck Creek vary from 70cfs to 300cfs. This video shows me playing in the hole at a flow of approximately 300cfs.
